When I learned about Boundless Life a few years ago I took notice. Their innovative approach to slow travel, exclusively for families with kids is as beautiful as it is practical. They provide education for the kids and a co-working space for parents, turn key accommodation and provide a kind of “summer camp for families” vibe all while taking the stress of planning. They have planned activities with other families and plenty of time to connect as a family and a couple in between.

I had the opportunity to stay at their newest hub this summer in Kotor Montenegro and I can tell you that it was an incredible experience. My partner and I are both startup founders and are balancing that with cherishing time with our 3 kids. This summer we were determined to stick to our commitment to balance despite very demanding schedules for our companies. Boundless life allowed us to strike a seemingly impossible balance between intense work schedules and adventures and time to connect with our growing kids.

We were able to work full time while the kids had an amazing time with other kids from around the world. Every night we were able to have dinner together and swam in the ocean each, we had adventures with other families at the weekend, and connected with other couples very organically over quick coffees or yoga in the park. In short we managed to have the summer of our dreams with the kids and were able to put in the time with our companies that was needed.

Here are some details about Boundless Life you might find useful:

Supporting Adults with Work-Life Balance Boundless Life isn’t just designed for children; parents also benefit from the program’s thoughtful design. Elodie highlighted how adults have access to coworking spaces, wellness programs, and professional workshops, enabling them to stay productive while on the move. Parents can work alongside a supportive community, then unwind with yoga, hiking, or even cooking classes, ensuring a balanced approach to work and leisure.

This holistic approach allows families to focus on what truly matters—spending quality time together while broadening their horizons.

Community, Culture, and Adventure Another key aspect of Boundless Life is its vibrant community. Families can join together for local cultural experiences, from cooking classes to community events, creating bonds that go beyond just sharing a travel experience. These meaningful connections between families ensure a deeper sense of belonging and create a supportive network for both parents and children.

With well-rounded opportunities for both adults and children, Boundless Life makes the world your classroom while fostering strong family relationships along the way.

I cannot recommend Boundless life enough if you are an adventurous family who also needs to keep your work or projects rolling (or not! There were several families with one or both parents on sabbatical). Connecting with other families was the cherry on top, we met a whole new set of international families that we can now meet at the other Boundless locations around the world. Truly an experience of a lifetime!
